Paying Your Tax Bill

Make checks payable to: Town of Ridgeway

We dont like but will accept cash payments for tax bills
Garbage Fees and Dog License payments need to be on a separate check
Please make sure your numbered dollar amount matches the written word amount
- (ex. $1234.56 ...one thousand two hundred thirty four 56/100)
Please put your phone number on your check, most mistakes can be taken care of over the phone, if there is a problem with your tax payment this year, I will be mailing it back...and it could possibly turn into a deliquent tax payment

Postmark Considerations
It has come to our attention, that when mailing a letter or payment, they ship it off to Milwaukee to get postmarked, that could be a day or two...so if you are one of those that likes to mail it the day its due, it will possibly be postmarked a day or two later...I can not accept a timely payment if postmarked after the due date. They suggest taking it into the post office and having them hand stamp the postmark, or you will need to put in the mail a couple days sooner.
